For this cottage we set up the full automation and control of all audio video, lighting control along with video surveillance so the owners can keep an eye on the cottage while they’re not there. The majority of the lighting dimmers and switches are out of site in closets on the three levels of the cottage leaving the control of the lighting to be handled by simple well placed lighting keypads which kept the walls clear of banks of multi-gang light switches and made it simple to operate lighting in the home. Lighting is controlled using scenes such as ‘Morning, Bright, Casual, Exterior, All Off, etc…’ which can be fully customized by the customer via an app on their mobile device. They can also manage the lighting along with Audio/Video using our custom 3D model control showing a replica of the home which allows them to simply click on a room to turn lights or Audio/Video zones on or off. In order to maintain a clean look for the TV’s above the fireplaces as well as provide superior sound we used Artison TV Mount speakers and ordered custom speaker grills to match the size of the TV’s.
